March Madness 2010

The first NCAA tournament without EXCITEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at every break, but I soldier on.

So far I have 21/28, and Cal is off to a good start which is good for me.

My Final Four:

Ohio State

Pittsburgh

Kentucky

Duke

I hate basketball. Hate it.

I have 21/32 so far. Georgetown, Temple, and Vanderbilt losing hurt me a LOT.

I still have my Final Four intact (Kansas, Syracuse, Kentucky, Purdue), with Syracuse beating Kentucky in the finals.

25/32 through the first round

Villanova is about to lose to St. Mary's

One person in my league had his championship wiped out in the first day.

Could St. Mary's be this year's Cinderella? It looks like it...

Murray State is doing a number on Butler right now.* We've had some upsets this year.

*Just as I posted that, Butler started a 7-0 run by running a bunch of guards out there.

I'm gonna pay attention to ODU later too. Gotta support my hometown, even though my bracket doesn't have them beating Baylor.

I would far rather watch an equivalent time span of Pontiac commercials.

I had Kansas in the Final Four... so that hurts. Beyond that, I'm not sad about it.

As a matter of fact, I'm not sad about any team that loses, really, since I don't have close ties to any of the schools (Old Dominion and Richmond had been the closest, each being in my home state). But I will say that this year's tournament has been extremely entertaining... and we haven't gotten to the Sweet 16 round yet. :)

Off the 10 of us at work that did brackets, I'm the only one who didn't have them in the Final Four. 7 of them had kU winning it all. My odds of winning a little money shot up yesterday.

So far the Sweet Sixteen has been very very bad to me. My pick for national champion was eliminated tonight, so now I'm pretty much just rooting for UNI.

Yeah, my bracket's been gone for a while now. Kentucky's the only Final Four team I have left standing, and WVU and Baylor are the only two other correct choices I still have left.

I'm in 5th in my league.
