I liked the 8C coupe better. Such sleek lines! Good to hear we'll see Alfas again soon!

That Spyder is nothing short of gorgeous. Alfa will have good fortunes here.
They'll surely fall apart after a few hours though.
Yay... I can't wait. I absolutely love Alfa Romeos.

So what do you all think ? I figure it will be a short lived return.

Agreed.
I was in Italy in February, and their large sedan (I want to say Brera but I think that may just be the concept, I dont know) is nice in person, but looks a little dated compared to what I expected. But who knows, the exotic fascia design is pretty original compared to what we have over here so who knows?
I ALWAYS LIKE ALFA'S, I FELT BAD WHEN SALES STOPPED BACK IN THE EARLY 90'S. AND FROM THE WAY THINGS ARE LOOKING @ ALFA NOW, SLES WILL BE THRU THE ROOF WITH THE ROADSTER SHOWN.

Does anybody know an actual time frame for an Alfa return to the U.S.? I keep reading conflicting reports...ranging from 2007 to no planned date. 2007 is pretty close considering it is basically 2006 now...I would think that Alfa would be doing some more main stream posturing by now. I sure wish they would hurry and get back over here.
All those cheering alfa's (yes: short-lived) return do realize that GM (and all others) will see a corresponding marketshare drop, right? Every new player in the already overcrowded U.S. market lowers everyone else's marketshare. I strongly doubt alfa is going to 'take off': they do not have a great reputation with the general consumer. A niche player at best...
can someone explain to me how Alpha Romeo is a worldwide partner ? Im assuming it has something to do with Fiat but for some reason was thinking GM was out of Fiat now ?

Their sales will not be anything to brag about but I'd rather see an Alfa Romeo on the road than any Toyota/Scion/Honda/Acura... And their cars do have very unique and sleek styling.
