April 13, 201015 yr I"m not sure if I ever posted a photo of this thing on C&G. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadillac_v16/3872704194 http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadillac_v16/3871895975/in/set-72157619701012612/ Here's a comparison of a stock model compared to my "Rat Rod" hackjob. http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadillac_v16/3549606299/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadillac_v16/3550448576/in/set-72157619701012612/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/cadillac_v16/3549820773/
April 13, 201015 yr Author Thank You. It was a very easy project to complete but it took me about a year to do little at a time as I gathered up all the individual pieces I needed. Most of the stuff was scrap or unused pieces from 1/48 scale planes & 1/25th scale cars. At some point I'm going to make a replica of the "Tiger Hunt V16". That will be a much more ambitious project as most of the body will have to be made from scratch.
April 13, 201015 yr Fun...I saw something sort of like this over the weekend in 1:1. It was a rod built w/ a 2 seat '30 Dodge roadster body and a '31 Cadillac V16 (long, narrow engine). It was sitting at a car show, pretty outrageous...the body was almost over the rear axle, kind of 'cab backward'..
April 14, 201015 yr Yeah that would be sweet, I love the air shows for the sounds of war birds too bad the prop wash masks the beautiful sound of those engines.
