February 8, 200620 yr These are the only ones I am considering. If they don't change the LaCrosse grille in 2007 to look more like that of the Lucerne, I will get this car. Have rented 5 to 10 of them thus far and put enough miles on GPs to take me from LA to NY. Thus, it's a car I can live with. I really feel the lighter colors are more flattering for this car. I don't like any of the others and don't want the silver because I have it now. Would go for a light metallic blue but it's not in the fold. These are the choices. Please chime in.
February 8, 200620 yr I said white w/ tan. My GP is white w/ the dark gray interior- very dark, almost black. It's all one solid sea of gray, a little depressing, altho I have spruced it up w/ white details. If I had it to do over again I might have gone w/ the "camel" or tan interior. HTH, good luck.
February 8, 200620 yr The 2006 Grand Prix looks sharp in white with tan leather interior and chrome accents. Which model are you looking at? The best deal IMO is the GT with supercharger and the above options. The 04 and up supercharged editions don't require premium gas anymore and can get close to 30 on a trip to boot. It's like having your cake and eating it too.
February 8, 200620 yr I said White/Black, but if you're getting leather, probably Tan. Tan cloth interiors just look cheap. I got the worst color combo for my Cavalier. With its bad materials, it's like the worst thing you can ever get. I'm sure the GP is better though.
February 11, 200620 yr I like the contrast of white/black leather. With the added interior brightwork on the '06s, it will look sharp. Oh, and get the polished 5 spoke rims. That'd be a classy combination, imo.
February 12, 200620 yr Author Thanks guys. My budget and desires opt for the base GP which means cloth. I, too, was more destined for the white exterior. I will probably go black on the inside, though it will have to be cloth. (The tan is nice, but the 'effin car has too many black bits when you get a tan interior).
