February 11, 200620 yr A friend of mine owns a NASCAR store in Brantford, Ontario which is closing and trying to sell all their merch. It's called Checkered Flag Racing. They have tons of jackets, die casts (including non-NASCAR), unique metal work of drivers, hats, etc... One thing I thought people here might be interested in was a GTO keychain. It's shaped like a piston, with the GTO logo stamped on the end of the piston. February 11, 200620 yr I have seen that store. I always wanted to check it out. Unfortunately I dont live near Brantford but my grandparents live in Simcoe, so we go through Brantford to get to Simcoe often. I wont be going back until March. Will they be open that long?

February 12, 200620 yr My dad had owned half of a store simular to that about 10 years ago. We still have some of the stuff in our basement, most of it consists of card decks, the other guy who owned the business claimed the good stuff like dicasts Some of it we had to throw out since our basement is pretty prone to flooding. My dad is determind that some of the stuff could be worth something some day.. I personally, think it's taking up space.

February 13, 200620 yr Author The guy who owns it is moving out of the city, so it would be tough to keep the store. I'll have to ask for a list of die casts.
