Anyone doing anything fun this holiday weekend? For the first time in years, I'm not traveling..staying home to catch up on sleep, pool time, and watch some racing (Indy 500, Turkish GP). Going to be taking a few long weekend trips this summer, but not on holiday weekends....first up is a weekend in Del Mar (San Diego) in mid June.

Probably going to race with the SCCA Monday at Ackerman, but I might spend the day with my wife instead.

Sunday, I think we have a 500 party with the Buckeye Miata club...

tomorrow...it's pull all the weeds in the yard that I didn't get last weekend and clean the house.

My teenagers have their friends both male and female...sleeping over this weekend. We'll have a house full...should be interesting...

Staying put.... but Tuesday morning I'm making what is likely my final run to Columbus for work.

Speaking of rentals, I have a rental pickup (F150 probably) from U-Haul for tommorow, need to move some furniture from the house to the storage unit as my sister wants to redecorate the living room..

I think I want to go camping for the first time this season. Watch for glare until I get a bit of a tan.

Here on the property tomorrow, and Sun/Mon prepping the race cars for an event next weekend.

Lots. Amidst some quick weekend shopping, going truck shopping (haven't been to a dealer in a while...need to), finding a job as a salesperson (seriously), another trip somewhere with a friend, BBQ at the house with random people, and whatever else, just tomorrow. Sunday should be finally wash the Av day after 2+ weeks of gunk & other chores. Monday...well...like a Monday, but no work.

Had things been more settled all around, it'd be a good weekend for a western PA family trek, but too much right now.

The beach traffic has begun, officially today, in 'ye ole Delaware. Summer is here, it seems.

BLAH, it was raining when I got up @ 5. It has quit now. I hope it clears up, I gotta get packed so I can head to Carbon County!
