May 30, 201015 yr Local dealership had a 2011 Regal parked out front...plus this strangely converted LaCrosse This seems to be the modern equiv of the trunk rack and landau tops they did in the 80s... Edited May 30, 201015 yr by BigPontiac
May 30, 201015 yr You have to love the classy neon yellow paper sign in the window!!! That just screams luxury, doesn't it? Edited May 30, 201015 yr by G_Man72
May 31, 201015 yr If I remember right, Parson's claims to be the highest volume Buick dealer in New England. I do like the grille on the Lacrosse, just not the rest of the changes. The Regal has a transmission from China.......is that a first for a large American car? Edited May 31, 201015 yr by Brougham-Holiday
May 31, 201015 yr Not sure on the trannys. I just found the new 2010 HHR SS came with 2.0 Turbo's built in Gemany vs the past ones built in Spring Hill TN. The Trannys were also from Saab. The Lecrosse grill looks like a poor mans CTS V series. The rest looks like the poor side of town. I am ok with the grill since I was never a big fan of the big tooth look. The wheel and pin stripe need to go. The wheels look smaller than the OE wheels. Edited May 31, 201015 yr by hyperv6
May 31, 201015 yr The Lecrosse grill looks like a poor mans CTS V series. Yeah, I was thinking "Lacrosse-V" when I saw it.
June 3, 201015 yr Parsons is in suburban Hartford, Connecticut and is known as the biggest in NE and old school. Lots of pinstripes and they also put metal dealer badges on the trunk. Heard some hot blond tv newscaster bought the first Regal.
June 3, 201015 yr The Regal has a transmission from China.......is that a first for a large American car? While the US Regal is more of an Insignia than a Chinese Regal, the 2.4 liter Ecotec/Hydramatic powertrain is one area where the US car is completely different from the German car. However, the optional 2.0T engine with the Aisin transmission (probably from Japan) is native to the Insignia. I prefer the Regal in lighter colors, btw. Edited June 3, 201015 yr by pow
