June 7, 201015 yr ...there's a subscription-paid satellite radio service... with no commercials, genre-specific channels... and it's pretty good.... ...but the subscription-paid, satellite TV service is still LOADED with commercials, LOADED with repetition... and it SUCKS ?!?!?
June 7, 201015 yr Because the Satellite TV services don't control the content of the individual channels. They're just the carrier. XM Radio actually owns most of their channels with the exception being the news stations like CNN/BBC/NPR/Sports etc
June 7, 201015 yr I have noticed that since XM radio and Siruis merged that there is morning shows on my Satellite XM Radio that did not have any and they tend to plug certian services/products during those shows. So now I channel hope to avoid the morning rant.
