2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee commercial – Click above to watch the video after the jump

The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a really big deal for Chrysler. Not only is it the first product to launch since the Fiat takeover, but it needs to show the world that Chrysler is capable of making attractive, high-quality products, and that the brand is working to rebuild its image here in America. Thus, this first ad spot for the Grand Cherokee focuses on just that – telling the world that American manufacturing is getting back on track, and that Chrysler is working hard to build the best new products for the market.

We'll be driving the 2011 Grand Cherokee in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for a full report. That interior is pretty "wow"!

Gorgeous interior; ChryCo's really getting it right, and I hope it continues with more of their upcoming models.

The tone of the ad is interesting. I think it'll resonate with viewers, as it doesn't come off overly cheesy as other 'home-team' ads often do.

I like the "Build it here, build it right" attitude of the new Grand Cherokee commercial.

I like this line "This was once a country where people made things, and so it is again."

Interior looks quite stunning. I cannot wait to see it in person.

I just saw this commercial about 2 minutes ago. I was quite shocked and pleasantly surprised by the tone and presence of the ad. Sweet looking Jeep, in and out too!

I like this line "This was once a country where people made things, beautiful things, and so it is again."

Stupid ad made me cry. Man, Chrysler's really hitting it out of the park with these newest ads. Bravo, Mopar!

I'd honestly take this over the ML on which this was initially based off of. And I'd have a difficult time choosing between this and the new Touareg.

I must say this is the first car ad in quite a long time that has made me actually want to see more of the car and actually wish the ad itself was longer. The music and the way the whole ad unfolds was pretty inspiring, well done Chrysler.

agree completely... but I'm pretty sure this would win...I love my 03 too much to not want this one...

I've seen test mules here in Coldwater recently, and I must say... they are very attractive and upscale in appearance.

It's like the American Land Rover. But better.

And, definitely one of the best advertisements of recent times. Chrysler's still got it!!!!
