While I'm finishing up the full writeup on the 2010 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ, we'll also be starting an Interactive Review on a 2010 Buick Enclave CXL-2. I've only had about 5 minutes of seat time so far, but for this review I'll be taking the Enclave on an 800 mile round trip jaunt to Washington D.C. for the Independence Day celebrations.

Does Great American Road belong to Buick?

How's the rear and side visibility in parking/backing up?

Quiet?

How's the driver's seat feel on long drives (supportive?).

Ease of egress/ingress?

Turning radius?

Fuel consumption

Powertrain responsiveness and driveability

Comfort, sound levels and equipment/luxury goodies

Put a couple of wooden planks in the back or try to sleep with seats all folded down.

fuel consumption, how much does it drink?

how bad does it flop in turns?

So far I've been doing 98% city/suburban driving and the computer says I'm doing 15.1mpg

It rolls more than the Acadia in turns, it's no sports car.. or even a sporty CUV. If you're looking for that, this isn't your vehicle. This is all about comfort, smoothness, and quiet. It's going to be a very comfortable trip down to DC tomorrow.

Rear visibility, like in all of the Lambdas is decent for this size of car. The rear parking camera helps a lot. The side mirrors seem to have the top outer corner lopped off and it feels like there is a small blind spot in that part of the mirror that really should be there.

The Enclave is very very quiet. Engine noise is non-existent at idle. Very muted at highway speed.

I'll get back to you about the long drive comfort.

As with all the other Lambdas, very easy to get in and out of.

Turning radius is very good. The vehicle feels very maneuverable for something of this size. In fact, I think it's easier wheeling the Enclave around a parking lot than the Malibu was.

Does it have the cooled seats? If yes, do you like them?

It does have cooled seat. I didn't like them at first, but I put it on for the drive home last night in lieu using the A/C. Once I got used to it, it was quite comfortable.

essentially then, its a buick
