Now, I won't mention names, here, but there is a certain member who thinks Camaros are for "mullet-heads" and "pimp-gold-chain-wearing-wannabes".

Here's a hint... Oh screw the hint. "Regfootball" appearantly is the puppet who nods his head to all of the stereotypes.

He said the following in a thread regarding Bob Lutz's comments on the upcoming Pontiac G5 and new Camaro. When someone said they would rather have the Camaro over the GTO, he responded by flinging this $h!.

Basically you are saying you'd prefer a gold chain / trailer park cruiser version of a GTO.  It looks like GM is gonna grant everyones wish and make the next Camaro the incarnate version of GM's TP cruiser.  Let's leave Pontiac out of the redneck car wars and let it be a little more sophisticated.  The last thing GM needs to do again is design all its cars to appeal to the gearhead and mullet set. GM will get no cred from anywhere these days unless they occasionally try to present an offering that is sophisticated and mainstream and refined.
