February 22, 200620 yr So a fault in the OBD system that may cause you to fail emissions. After reading that whole thing, it doesn't seem bad, free service, including things not directly related to the OBD system. Still a hastle. At least they didn't send you a letter saying your car is in demand and they'll buy it back for above market value
February 22, 200620 yr Same thing they always do. Instead of recalling the vehicle they just extend your warranty...nothing new.
February 23, 200620 yr Hold on, don't forget honda is perfect so there is no need for a recall. It is interesting they got away with not having a recall.
February 23, 200620 yr I wonder what would happen if you sold your car to someone else before this work was done. Does the "extended" warranty apply to them as well

February 23, 200620 yr depends on the state. here in iowa you don't have to pass anything, you just give them the car and the title...
February 23, 200620 yr I bought an '96 Accord with 90K miles on it a few years back. After about 50K miles, I took the car to the dealer b/c my engine light kept coming on. i was told the problem was the catalytic converter, and that the warantee on the converter had been "extended" to 150K miles. They replaced the converter and the exhaust system aft of it free of charge. -RBB

February 25, 200620 yr wait wait wait.... they required it to run on premium? its a friggin corolla! the only way I could understand a premium requirement is if it was an XRS, which I dont remember them having the 01 model year. WTF
