Camino is planning some upgrades. :AH-HA_wink:

In order to be ready to sell my toys, I am planning to upgrade things a bit. Broadband of some kind is on the list as is a scanner. Look out when I get my mits on the scanner- I'm going to post so many pics of my old rides you'll think I was 68! :neenerneener:

:banghead:

haha Really though, I can't wait to see! Sounds like you've had some bad rides. 8)

Just remember....those scanners aren't built like the Xerox at work. You can't scan your ass and expect not to break the glass!:rolleyes::lol:

Not unless you invest in the Xerox 790 Assjet.

I may not have a scanner yet, but I just found a ton of my Firehawk pics. I'll start you off with my favorite: Pic is my Hawk coming off the transporter about a minute before I had the keys in my hand for the first time.

Was you dad's delievered new? Because that Viper is definetly newer than a '98.

No, SLP only built 6 prototypes in '98 and no production 'Hawks that year. My dad's car was the last one SLP still had and we got it from them(it was titled to SLP). This car was a magazine test car, durability test car, and photoshoot car. Many of the pics of the '98 Firehawks on the web are this exact car when it still had the prototype headlights.

And here it is at the Hawk Rally in '04 with the magazine cover taped to the window.

I never seen a transporter like that, what's the deal?

Well, long story short...all the floor sections move up and down to accomodate different shape/size vehicles and the lift gate on the back moves them up and down to the floor racks.

Other trucks are configured just like you see open air auto haulers, only all the racks and mechanical stuff are obviously inside the box.

One more pic before I start the day. These are the signatures my car was delivered to me with. I was wrong about when Ed Hamburger signed the car(he signed my dad's car that day). Jeff Yachnin,Dave Hamburger, and Scott Settlemire signed it at events after I got it.
