3.9L Standard in '07 CSVs

Featured Replies

Apologies if this is a repost...GM recently released some '07 ordering guides (see http://eogld.ecomm.gm.com/dmdindex.htm) and I noticed that the CSVs all have the 3.9L V6 standard for '07. The 3.5 is no longer available. They are also dropping the Montana SV6, so there are only 3 CSVs for '07.

'07 Aveo guide is out too...and the GMT900 SUVs, but I think those have been up for awhile now.

Well, that's good I guess. Still, it's not going not to make the CSVs competitive.

Well, better, but not wonderful.

Anyone know if they got the DoD on the 3.9 to work without the problems?

Well, at least they'll win the soccer mom drag race... :P:lol:

Hope they added some stuff as well...

Good news... the current 3.5L V6 CSVs are one of the slowest cars (0-60 in 10.6) on the market today.

If the RELAY is sticking around it'll need some exterior freshening in order to fit in with the "new" Saturns.

So if GM is introducing the 2007s early does that mean this is their last year? If I remember correctly, when they first came out we where told they where a stop gap and would only be out for 3 years. Here goes to a wishing and a hoping.
