July 25, 201015 yr I had a '90 Grand Marquis. A $5 plastic retainer broke, locking up the trans while I was driving. Other than that, and the 15mpg pretty much no matter what I did, and the trans being super slow to shift, I liked the car. Super comfy land yacht.

July 26, 201015 yr You'd be hard pressed to find any car with a better cost-to-benefit ratio than this particular car. It is exactly the sort of car I have hunted for when cheap and reliable were the criteria for purchase. Granny cars are the best bargain out there if you can stash your ego.
