Solstice GXP Production To be 40% Of Cars Made.

Featured Replies

How is THIS for a surefire hit?

UPDATE 2/7: Recently Pontiac mentioned to some Dealers that they believe that GXPs will account for 40% for 2007 production. So they should be planning for that amount, if they expect it. So even if constrained, it should mean that on any given week, 40% of the allocation could be GXPs.

That's pretty impressive.

I wonder if the Red Line version of the Sky will be similar.

I don't understand how they still stick by the 20,000 units. The car will push 30,000 between GXP & regular production.

I love the demand on this vehicle. Makes me smile from ear to ear every morning I wake up.

I think it is because of the panels that have a complicated process in forming that slow it down. Also you have to consider they will be making the Sky, and Opel GT at the same plant in addition to the Sky Redline.

I saw my 2nd Solstice this weekend (1st one up close) as it was driving towards me. Until it got close, I thought it was a European import roadster. Great Job GM!

I saw my first one in person too! I was in Riverton visiting a buddy of mine at CWC. We were headed to dinner and it was just parked on the side of the road. Envy Green and the top was up...thats about all I could tell...but damn :idhitit:
