Since the middle of 05, I have been getting inside news about Saturn from a local dealership through email...who will remain nameless. This is what I have learned so far..

I was told in June that Saturn was considering the Astra for the next Ion and the final desicion was supposed to be made in around 9 months from June...Next month. I just emailed them now and will be feeding the info to you guys as I get it!

I can't believe that I had forgotten about this until 10 min. ago!

seems like a very strong rumor, considering it being brough up by Lutz, the trademark filed, & all. Would love the 3 door hatch turned into a 5dr quad coupe, but the way Lutz was talking, the future Opel derived Saturns will be nearly identical to their Opel cousins.

That is REALLY exciting because I was about to go look at Saturn this summer...but I'm gonna wait now..And I really hope that there's a sedan.

I was told by a Saturn representative that the Aura was to be unveiled at the New York Auto Show! Or would at least be there. He didn't know about the Outlook, and I forgot to ask about the Astra or Evoke, or whatever is replacing ION.
