you got that right. it has the Race Car engine in it!!

and had the V16 in a Yukon 'mule'. then they fired it up. wow!

when you watch this show note on the CTS M1 has the strange flaired wheel wells that keep shoing up on the mule pictures. I also noted the new picture od the CTS in Popuar mech. has the same fender flairs.

Don't know if there is anything to the flairs but they keep showing up?

Not sure what was done to the engine but the race car is claimed to have a production base engien too so It may have been just a modified stock engine nothing way out their. If I recall they hae to watch what is done on the CTS R as SCCA has given them trouble before and add weight if they run too good.

I do love the name M1 it is a smack in the face of BMW and is the name of Woodward ave. Michigan 1. I hope they use it in the future.

It is also interesting they keep bringing the V16 up just so it is not forgotten. Most engine not yet set for production like it are often in a back room waiting to get crushed a year later.
