    one of Fiero swaps that always intrigued me was the 3.4 DOHC + turbo setup that seems to be common.

    I was always a fan of the Northstar swaps. I've got a friend who has a Fiero and 5.3L out of the Monte/Impala SS, but he hasn't had time to do the swap yet.
