Umm, it's not just last night.. but every night this week (and part of last, if I'm not mistaken)

I was talking with Chris about it last night during the down time...It was the first time I had experienced it, but from hearing about how often it has been happening, and knowing you guys do shell out quite a bit to keep this place running, a switch to a different host only makes sense.

thats odd i was surfing it from 5-11 last night at one point i was the only one on lol??? o well i feel special know that i had access and you didnt lol

I've always had good service from www.8-95.com and their sister site www.dixiesys.com

they are not middlemen and they actually own the servers. Knowledgeable guys and good support.

So umm...site's been down twice just tonight....

Last night, when i was making the changes to the Site Stats box, the site died right after I saved the file. You could imagine how frantic I became. Luckily it was just a coincidence.

This is fast becoming priority one for us.

More than that for me and I've only been home for a small portion of both days.

We're working on it guys. Sufice to say, things are a bit complicated but we'll get it done.

If we're running low on cash, should we consider some advertising revenue?

yeah i have been thinking it was getting a little bad....there is a hardly a night i try to come on here that it isn't down for a little while.

That looks like the bull GMI uses. Man those things are annoying. Better yet, find a way to sell T-shirts that doesn't involve Cafe Press and credit cards.

GMI ads are built into the forum code. It randomly adds posts.

Just an idea. Won't do harm I suppose, it should be legit.

Most ad servers explicity prohibit posting ads within the threads.
