March 15, 200620 yr Anyone see the new Saturn commercial during "The West Wing" Sunday night? Watching the show on TiVo, I nearly skipped past it. It featured a napkin drawing of the Saturn Sky which morphs (very well) into a blueprint and then into a clay model, and then into a production Sky moving at highway speeds. The commercial ends as the Sky passes between the updated 2007 Saturn Vue and the new Saturn Aura.
March 15, 200620 yr That commercial is actually a year old. They're just playing again because all three models will be on the market within the next few months excluding the VUE redline which is already on the market right now.

They're just playing again because all three models will be on the market within the next few months excluding the VUE redline which is already on the market right now.The commercial is not a year old. I found out that it made its debut during the Super Bowl, which makes it a month and a half old.

March 15, 200620 yr No...that ad came out way before this past Super Bowl. It was first shown in late summer or early fall of 2005. Yes, i was FIRST shown during the MTV music awards in september? Saturn sponsered it, and there were some SKY(s) outside, and the commercial ran a few times during the show.
March 15, 200620 yr http://www.saturn.com/saturn/detour/television/index.jsp Titled "Inspiration" Something else to keep in mind, at the end when it shows the Aura, Sky, & Vue Redline, this is printed below: AURA concept shown. Actual production model will vary. AURA avaiable late 2006. Sky avaiable early 2006.
March 16, 200620 yr Who cares how old it is... I saw it for the first time a few days ago. I was excited to finally see the Aura on tv. When's it coming to dealers?
March 16, 200620 yr 7 months is almost a year? Well, it's over half a year... so I'd say it's closer then a couple of months.
March 16, 200620 yr Well, it's over half a year... so I'd say it's closer then a couple of months. If you want to get picky, a couple of months is as close to 7 months as a year is. 7months - 2 months = 5 months 12 months - 7 months = 5 months. You just seem strangely defensive about it. No one really cares.
March 16, 200620 yr I'm just trying to justify my huge exaggeration. Let me have my moment!! lol - it's all good.

But if we think in terms of percentages, 7/12 makes a considerably larger percentage than 2/7.
