March 17, 200620 yr It looks really big in those pics. Hopefully it doesn't look so huge in the flesh.
March 17, 200620 yr Huh. The grille looks suspiciously like the one that can be found on the Insignia and Antara concepts. Needless to say, this is a great lookinng SUV and will probably sell very, very well for Saturn.
March 17, 200620 yr That's a whole size class beyond Rendezvous! Why don't they take Rendezvous and make it a near-luxury version of Equinox/Torrent? Keep the vast passenger and cargo room, make a lower, less top-heavy profile, and make sure it still seats 7 comfortably. I know Griffon suggested a Theta Rendezvous in the past, and it makes senese to me too. GM's been needing to jack up the width for the longest time! Now about Malibu, G6, and Impala.... Buick's decision to drop the Rendezvous name after it's successful run (based on the Aztek, no less) seemed questionable. It would make sense for the rumored Theta Buick to carry the Rendezvous bage while the Enclave simply takes over the Rainier's spot. Interesting.
March 17, 200620 yr I'll post my little chart again here: And versus other GM family haulers...Lambda---LeSabre---Terraza---Tahoe 202--------200---------205-------202 119--------112---------121-------116 79----------74----------75--------79 71----------57----------72--------77 So, to properly envision this, think about a Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade chopped 6 inches in height. Pretty big.
March 17, 200620 yr What's the Outlook gonna do with all that junk... all that junk inside it's trunk? Sorry.. had to do that.
