Well guys, here she is. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. More to come.

Damn, that sucks. At least you're alright though.

I dread the day that could happen to my GTO.

Any ideas on what you might look at as a replacement?

Pictures really don't reveal the full-extent of the damage.

The undercarriage suffered severe damage due to rocks when I swerved off the road. It's only slightly visible in the first picture, but the frame also looks to be bent. In person, there's a noticeable lift in the body forward of the A-pillar. The pictures do show the fluid leaking from the engine. The windshield is broken (I only vaguely remember hitting it), and both driver's side wheels are bent.

That could certainly change the picture. If the drivetrain is trashed, along with suspension damage, it's probably over. Nothing but a numbers game now - you may be better off if they do total it. Keep us posted.

With the fenders being shoved upward and back, you can bet the internal front structure damage is worse than what it appears from these pictures. From the looks of the bumper, it appears the right side frame rail, at least, took a direct hit. This does not look good.

No doubt about it the car is totaled. :( (unless it's like a 2005 with like 6K miles)

The IS is the only Lexus I've ever thought was really cool, the late 90s-up GS was alright too but there's something cool about a small inline six powered sedan with tight proportions and a 5/6 speed manual. Hopefully you will not experience and aches and pains in the future from hidden damage to your back/neck.

Since this is an enthusiast's website what are you considering as a replacement? CTS? BMW 3? New IS? GTO? Infiniti G35? MB C-class?

Damn... I hate to see an IS smashed up like that. It doesn't look much worse than my mom's GA did when she wrecked it, but it looks like there's the possibility of structure/frame damage, as ocnblu said. I'm not a mechanic, though... :P
