New Front Page

Featured Replies

A new front page is coming. I would like your input as to what you would like to see changed, added, subtracted any other comments you have. No guarantee that I can integrate all ideas, but would like everyone to throw something into the ring.

I'd like it a little more uncluttered, add some more color, and perhaps de-emphasize the lead article slightly.

I'd also like to see more pics of members cars or other random GM cars....

Just my two cents.

Maybe less content and make it shorter and more concise...the current front page is scrolly, currently has about 5 pages/screens worth of info.

Absolutely agree with the other posts about the front page being too cluttered and large. Less content on the front page... less scrolling as well. If people want to explore specific content, let them go into the website, but keep major stories and maybe a top feature summary/links on the front page.

Some have mentioned more color on the front page. I agree, but don't feel I'd add too much as you don't want it to be overly distracting.

EDIT: What about having titles of major articles and maybe a 1-2 sentence summary... but a flash page where if you hover over the link, a blurb pops up with the first paragraph of the article? Too much to do?
