January 15, 201115 yr The car no longer looks ghastly, from some angles it even looks quite good (ones not in profile). However the real story here is the photography. GM needs to hire whoever Chrysler hired to do their press photos, they are fantastic, and as we all know, GM photography sucks.
January 15, 201115 yr Not awful, but Chrysler really needs to re-think having such a large grille with no logo to break up the slats, it makes it look like a GeneriCar from a TitleMax ad.
January 15, 201115 yr I don't find the 200C pics to be "fantastic". The 1st one is very good, the 2nd one it just gets lost in the monochrome, the 3rd is only 'fine' and the last one looks like a bad 'Shop (which it is). In general; I'd rather look at a dynamic, well designed car with a plain background than a 'jazzy' background diverting attention from a mediocre design.
January 15, 201115 yr Well, they are certainly light years better than typical press photos. We'd all like to see an all new dynamic model, but that doesn't happen in 12 months.
January 20, 201115 yr The new 200 is much nicer in person. Even the sedan. I sat in and poked around a Touring model with cloth the 2.4 as well as a Limited with leather and the 3.6. Do not deceive yourselves. The 200 looks very nice in person. Of course one must try to avoid the full-on profile view, but the car is sleek, attractive, and far more upscale the predecessor. Though not best in class and there is still no manual transmission, I have a bit for everyone to mull over: The 200's interior features higher quality materials than the new Jetta.
