January 28, 201115 yr Wife clipped the rear view mirror off the Taurus X this morning. Sliced it off by hitting the garage can out in the driveway waiting for the garbage man. Oh man, so don't need this. Any folks familiar with body work know what it's gonna cost me? (money I don't gots), over 500 I suppose. Heated mirrors with puddle lamp. At least the glass part is in tact. Holdin it all together with electrical tape right now. Edited January 28, 201115 yr by regfootball
January 28, 201115 yr I found replacement mirrors for the CR-V on ebay. It was 3 screws and a wire harness to install.
January 28, 201115 yr Ebay & swap yourself, and can also check here (nationwide salvage yards that catalog & price every piece of their inventory) for a Freestyle/Taurus X mirror: http://www.car-part.com/ Get one the same color, and be set to go.
January 28, 201115 yr All true. Even a brand new mirror, installed by us, would be well under $500. You will most likely have to take off the interior door trim panel to get to the plug.
