Anyone with a couple extra minutes... chance to win a car and trip

Featured Replies

So Readers Digest has this contest where you show your "spirit" for your town (or a town) in order for the town to win money towards an improvement. The town my dad grew up in and my aunt and uncle still live is currently in second place in the "population under 99,000" category, and are trying to win $40,000 towards making the town library handicap accessible.

In addition, all individuals are entered into a contest to win $35,000 towards a car and roadtrip across America.

Feel free to vote for your own town/city, but if you don't care and just want to have the chance to win a car and trip, please vote here:

All you have to do is enter your information and click "cheer" and then cheer again 9 more times after the entry box closes. You can also enter more than one email address to get more entries into the contest.

Like I said you can vote for your town too, but if you don't mind this town is quite close to first place and an extra $15,000 in prize money. There are only 5 days left in the contest so it's unlikely any town not currently close to money is going to get into the money.
