GM 1st quarter sales analysis

Featured Replies

While GM sales are down overall, there are some bright spots, and some areas of concern.

Buick, Cadillac, Hummer and Saab up from a year ago.

Saturn, Pontiac, Chevrolet down, in some cases significantly from a year ago.

GM's criticized minivan sales are mixed: up for Buick, Pontiac, and Chevy, down for Saturn.

New Launch vehicles are up: DTS, Lucerne, Solstice, Tahoe, and Escalade

Chevy Corvette outsold the entire Saab division.

Hmmm...time to bring back names maybe?

no... time to replace old product... the CTS needs to bring the traffic in...

The STS is still new and it's down that much, outch!

I think there's a refresh coming... Let's hope. :)

yes a refresh is coming, but i don't think it will be enough unless the interior is completely redesigned. In its class I see no reason to pick the sts over superior cars like the M45, A6, 540, etc.

THIS is why I was worried about Cadillac and subsequently started that thread about it...

GM, you CANNOT allow Cadillac to regres!!!!!! They need freshened product and they need it NOW!!! Not 3 years from now, that'll be too late!
