Short Description: March 15, 2011, saw me release my pickup truck into the wild blue yonder, traded for this sweet running, sweet handling little car. I couldn't be more pleased overall... plus 35.8 mpg, and it's barely broken in. BULLETIN: latest tank 40.4 MPG!

Well thank ya. It's running really well so far at 4500 miles, average MPG on DIC is 37.2 over that period (far exceeding the EPA estimates). It's warshed once a week and kept lookin' good. Even as gas still hovers around 3.34 around here. It remains quiet and rattle-free (as it should, of course, but I was racking my brain with the truck at this mileage trying to track down door and chassis noises).

It's fun to toss around, easy to park, and cruises down the highway straight and stable.

My car does have 3 idiosyncrasies though, it's not perfect. When it gets really hot parked in the sun, washer fluid drips down the back glass and leaves a little trail (not excessive, just enough to leave a mark). The seat height adjuster loses altitude over time. I get about a 1/2 crank on it daily to keep my nose bleeding (I'm short enough I like to sit up as high off the floor as possible), and the clock loses about a minute a week (luckily it is bone simple to adjust).

So there's my 3.5 month review of the 2011 Ford Fiesta SE Hatchback with 5 speed manual, Sport Appearance and Sync-n-Sound packages. I'd buy another one, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to have a car that has the best combination of fun, frugality and versatility on the market right now, imo.

Cool! Now... PICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!EleventyBilion!!!!111!!!!! :P
