May Day! May Day! Pilot Seeing Spots!

Saw a silver '12 Focus sedan...first one I've seen out and about...ok...the taillights and front fascia are still overwrought, IMO.

2012 Focus sedans everywhere, in every color and trim level, around Philly. They've just appeared, more quickly and frequently than I expected. Almost see them as often as Cruze's now.

A base model charcoal one tonight. Still figuring out that front end...

On the GM front, one of the used car wholesalers we work with showed up in a 10k mile Victory Red '10 Camaro SS RS 6-spd with black stripes, black windows and custom black wheels he just bought. Wheels were different, but sounded great. Then today a new silver Camaro SS convertible showed up at work...briefly. Random kid.

My neighbor just got a yellow Fiberfab Avenger GT-12 body.
Neighbor just brought home a '65 Beetle, purple with silver fenders.

I smell a plan....

White bentley convert, looking typically cheap from the rear, piloted by an 75-80 yr old guy.

Ferrari california (had to google for the model name; ferrari changes them constantly), the one with the pushed-in ass and the stacked exhaust tips. Guy was over 60, easy.

'55-57 Chevy longbed pickup project.

A couple of interesting automobiles at the campground this weekend. A '76 Olds Custom Cruiser, light blue with woodgrain, in daily driver condition. And a coral over ivory Nash Metropolitan with a definite patina and a little bit of body damage at the front bumper filler panel and hood. A very diverse set of spots.

In a restaurant lot tonight I saw a silver Lincoln Town Car and a silver Smart FourTwo parked side by side, interesting contrast in size and design...

In the parking lot I use for work there was a gray (wasn't sure if it was faded light gray or primer) '66 Buick Wildcat 4dr sedan today, in solid shape, good chrome.

At the airport last night, I saw a dorked-out Maserati Gran Turismo coupe in matte black w/ huge tacky bling wheels and a dorky hat-backward kid driving it.

Saw the aftermath of a 3 car accident at an intersection--a silver CTS coupe had collided into a Prius whilst turning, a black C6 Corvette Z06 had rear-ended the CTS, with the CTS's giant rear end resting halfway up the Vette's hood...

While "on duty" at a local Memorial Day Parade with the fire department on Monday (5/30), I got to watch the parade go by and saw this beautiful '37 Cord:

And another county fire department still owns one of their original fire engines... a '50s Mack B-Model that was restored recently:

There's a new thread for the month, Roger. Called "SUN SPOTS", it's our June Car Spotters thingy.
