New Cadillac Crossover

med_gallery_62_338026.png

Rumors are starting to swirl yet again about a new Cadillac crossover to slot in below the Escalade and above the SRX. We're looking for your ideas. You can sketch it or you can chop it. No limitations of what to use as a base. Will you make it an on road sports crossover like the X5 or will you make it a versatile off road mountain goat like a Range Rover?

Either way, if you submit the winning design, you'll win this 1/14th scale Remote Control Cadillac Escalade. Voting starts on June 1st, get it in before then.

Buy a Lexus GX460, slap a Cadillac grill on the front and some vertical tail lights on the back, done. It's not like the people who buy these could tell the difference anyways

Start w/ a Chevy Traverse...it would be a Lambda..the Traverse makes more sense as a starting point than the Acacia or Enclave because it's slab sided styling would work well w/ crisp Caddy ends and details, I think..

I'm working on it. Or maybe if no one else makes an entry I won't work on it anymore and just turn in the first sketch I made.

This is unconscionable. Back in the day we had very lively sketching and photoshopping contests. And that was BP (before prizes).

I would but I don't care for Cadillac having SUVs or crossovers at all, myself. That's almost like Porsche having an SUV or crosso--oh, wait... :nono:

So sketch an "uncrossover", TJ!

lol, I'd probably end up making something stoopit like a Cadillac X6M.

perhaps I'll give it a try. I dunno though.

DO IT. DO IT.

I will submit something, even if it's not 'til the last minute like I usually do. I have just been hella busy with school work, hopelessly looking for a job, and getting ready for my sister's open house.

I used to love the design competitions here. If I weren't currently busy studying for the bar exam, I would give it a shot. It's been a long time.
