May 26, 201114 yr Why does the administrator delete a link that doesn't have anything more than a link? He seems to want you to discuss what is in the link in addition to posting a link. Why? Besides his forum..his rules? Is the DO NOT SPAM message an automatic link? Or does he personally E Mail everyone who posts a link without additional words/comments. Somehow to accuse someone of spam (for sending one link) seems a bit offensive. Thanks.

Seeing your (so far) post count is low, it probably is automatic. Oldsmoboi would be the one with the answer. Generally on most forums, because some spambots have figured out how to post and the solution is to require either a certain threshold of posts or a certain threshold of content vs. links. Don't take it personal, its just a small way admins can vent considering how much of a PITA these spambots are.
May 27, 201114 yr I did personally email you, and you could have replied to that if you had questions. I told you that you could post your link, but you needed more of an explanation of why the link was relevant rather than just a bare unformatted link with nothing else, especially since you are using C&G to promote your own blog in this way. Just a few quick sentences and then the link is sufficient. I don't believe I am being unreasonable in this request.
