June 10, 201114 yr NADA Guides Releases Their “Hardest to Find” list William Maley - Editor/Reporter - CheersandGears.com June 10, 2011 NADA Guides just put out their list of the “Hardest to Find” vehicles. NADA did a analysis of dealer inventories and sales data to help them compile their list. They also avoided low production models since their short supply is due to exclusivity. The list of vehicles that are in short supply are the Ford Explorer, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Sorento and Toyota Prius. NADA says all of the vehicles had less than a 30 day inventory supply. Automakers consider anything with less than 50 day supply – an estimate of how long it would take for dealerships across the country to have their stock of a model be depleted - a good thing.
