April 9, 200619 yr Word is that G. Richard Wagoner will be a guest today at 10:30AM on "Face the Nation". Our failed CEO has been making the rounds of newspapers, radio, and television at a frantic pace. Mr. Steve Harris, the PR director brought back to save the day, has pulled out all stops in a desparate effort to build goodwill, and offset the stampede of calls for his boss to resign, or be fired. In my opinion, General Motors would be far better served if "Red Ink Rick" were instead simply made to "Face the Music"!
April 9, 200619 yr how bout "sniveling weasle c**@sucker buickman" get a life. im sick of this $h! already. let it go. dont you have cars to sell? we all know what you want. for the love of the good lord above us let it go. quit being part of the f@#king problem already. damn. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So your idea is to censor people that do not believe in the CEO?You MUST be in his left pocket.
April 9, 200619 yr Mr. Wagoner did a decent job answering some very tough questions. He gave credit to the unions for compromise and stood fairly firm against bankruptcy. He comes across as someone you would like to believe in. The trouble is that darn record of his. There needs to be some accountability for the current state of affairs at GM and he is the captain. It's just not right to continuously blame everyone (Roger, Zarrella) and everything (legacy, exchange rates) when really the biggest problem has been the loss of sales and market share. As Keith Crain of the Automotive News said, if we just sold another million cars per year these problems would all go away. Well Mr. Wagoner, you refuse to listen to someone who understands how to get the job done. You have failed on a scale unheard of in business history. That is why this cowboy is out to have you lassoed. Buickman Edited April 9, 200619 yr by buickman

April 9, 200619 yr That is why this cowboy is out to have you lassoed. Buickman So how many times did you watch "Brokeback Mountain"?
April 10, 200619 yr How about instead of ignoring him... we have him banned? I'm not sure what Josh is thinking, but Fly, Z, and the others are still sane by the looks of it. Sorry Josh, but BM doesn't belong here. The sooner he's gone, the better... and maybe not as many people would have you on their hit list. Don't worry, you're not on mine... yet.

The Shelf's rel'p with BM is not the reason why he's being zinged these days, although the similariites between the two of them is ironic.

April 10, 200619 yr Nice job Rick. Great to see GM come out swinging for a change. A CEO with a turn around plan grounded in reality, what a concept.
