g6 2007 convert?

Featured Replies

If the epsilons are getting the vvt 3.5L (impala's base engine), keeping it's near 220 hp, will this make the 3.9's seem amlost useless with it's 227 hp, or will it get the 6speed (at or mt) treatment it should to fully use the 3.9L's power? i bring this up since the manual isn't available for the conv. presently.

yes the 3.9 has prolly more noticable kick to it, but could the power ratings could make it look foolish?

what's anyone else think of this? anyone have any ideas, opinions, other than "why doesn't it have the 6 speed manual allready"?

off topic and who cares how futile, i think i'm going to start berating msn autos for thier lack of easily found facts for thier g6 page -- engine and mpg facts, found at msn g6 page

mainly curious how long it'll take for them to correct, if ever.

just noticed i made it to redline member.... woohoo! lol

The 3500 makes 211 hp so maybe the vert will have more than 227hp. Both of these numbers could change by then but I doubt it. The vert 227 hp makes no sense whatsoever since every stinking other application makes 240-242hp.

the 3.9 making 227 hp is foolish. That engine/tranny, whatever, needs to be pumped up, especially with the meager fuel economy ratings. It's like when you look at the numbers, it's almost as if GM wants the car to fail.
