June 30, 201114 yr There's really only one thing which can be said to accurately depict my reaction to this movie: With that out of the way, I really enjoyed this movie, and going by the audience applause and cheering at the end, so did a lot of other people. It's far better than the second movie and better than the first. There's a much better defined a plot, nods to the series, the main characters have actual depth now and there's some pretty emotional moments. The Deceptions can be genuinely scarey at times and the action scenes are incredible. It's not Hamlet, but totally worth seeing if you're a Transformers fan.
June 30, 201114 yr cool, hopefully i feel the same way. i've heard it's gotten some horrid reviews, and a movie "aficionado" friend of mine saw it and hated it.
June 30, 201114 yr I saw it Tuesday night (9:00 PM show). It's a long movie (2:37), and add in the previews and your there for almost 3 hours! I agree with Dodgefan, it was a really good movie. A lot of clapping at the end and many people seemed to enjoy it (much like the first one). I have to erase the second one from my memory still. I may go see it again in the next couple of weeks. I don't want to spoil anything for those who have yet to see it
June 30, 201114 yr This might be the best review I've read so far (Roger Ebert and Peter Travers both had good reviews also): Transformers: Dark of The Moon review from Film Freak Central
July 3, 201114 yr Maybe I'll go see it now... I was planning to avoid it, given how bad the second one was.
July 7, 201114 yr I nominate a law be passed so that Bay has to legally retitle the movie "Robot Island".
July 7, 201114 yr Somebody likened 3 3-D experince to being pelted by legos constantly being hurled at your face by a pre-schooler. I saw it in good old 2-d and agree with the above. Best of the the 3 movies.
