Headed to the dragstrip tomorrow

Featured Replies

Vintage drag racing at Maple Grove. I tried to do this last year, but it didn't work out. So, it was very cool to get the invite in my voicemail as soon as I got off the tractor for the day.

Should be big fun.

Shoot, sounds awesome. I was invited to go last wknd to a test-n-tune there, but got caught in a traffic jam in Lancaster of all places for 45 minutes. After which I got po'd and slunk home. Have fun!

This gorgeous Studebaker was there, stunning in every way - the pic doesn't do it justice:

A gallery of pics from last year's event is here:

I see a few other cars that were there today, I hope they do the same for this year on that site as there were a ton of other amazing cars there.

There is sure to be a pic of the crazy rat rod.

Woohoo! They posted the coverage of this year's event!

Here's a link to the crazy rat rod I was talking about, with my Uncle and I looking at it!

Edit: the links to the individual pics don't work, just scroll down through the pics in the gallery and enlarge.

Same goes for the front pic of the Rat Rod.

Isn't that rat rod nuts?

The pics don't show all the crazy details, but should give you that "whoa" reaction.
