August 14, 201114 yr Found on eBay: 1972 Cassalini Motors Sulky 3 Wheel Micro Car Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-cassalini-motors-sulky-3-wheel-micro-car-/160636332323?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2566abe923 Does the size of Smart cars terrify you? Does a Prius not get enough mileage? Do you think Peel Trident's and BMW Issetas are overplayed? Then eBay has the answer! This 1972 Cassalini Motors Sulky has everything you need to make sure nobody ever tries to carpool with you. On the inside, we can see a shifter that controls a transmission with three forward and one reverse gear as well as a hand brake and windshield wiper control. In the rear, we see a bench seat and a wooden engine cover. Under the hood, we see 50cc of fury and a generator that looks as big as the engine itself. Our back, a large rear window so you can see the bugs on a tailgaters grille.
August 14, 201114 yr Alternative sarcastic post: I've heard of an "Ohio Log Ride" but this looks even more cramped than an "Alaskan Pipeline"!
August 14, 201114 yr Horrific. I could see driving it on my Mom's driveway in Ohio (3/4 of mile long) but not on public roads or streets.
August 15, 201114 yr There was an episode of Top Gear about that type of car. If you are talking about this... ...its actually a totally different animal. This is a Peel P50. For starters, the Peel P50 didn't have reverse.
August 15, 201114 yr I actually like the Peel, just for the Absurdity of it, and it was manufactured on the "Isle of Man" which just adds to the weirdness. The Peel, as goofy as it was, did have some styling to it. While still goofy & funny it looks like PRODUCT instead of a 4th grade science project like this "72 Cassalini".
