Hyundai Sonata drifting problems

Featured Replies

Sounds like they get out of alignment easily. Weak FWD appliances.

It's obviously the road's fault, because the Hyundai Sonata is the best car ever and Hyundai is on a roll and everyone should look out for them.

That is what happens when you employ Rhyss Millen. The cars start drifting.

Like other companies that boast using racing technology in daily vehicles, Hyundai can boast use of drifting knowledge applied for daily use. :P

LOL... first video: "Driving this car requires constant holding of the wheel".

Well, duh.

I wonder if Hyundai/Kia has grown too fast in their pursuit of becoming the next Toyota, and have perhaps cut corners?

Isn't corner-cutting generally a hallmark OF Hyundai/Kia? They've just gotten better at hiding it.

It's hard to tell from the videos; when the driver let's go of the wheel, is it turning to the left, or does the car actually drift to the left despite the steering wheel staying straight? Are drivers having to constantly correct the drift by turning to the right? The recall says it only affects vehicles with 18' wheels. Maybe it's just a defect in the tires they used.
