That being said, he is one of the guys I race with here in Columbus...fantastic ;person...and he's selling it in the hopes of getting a Z06....

I like the simplicity of it.

No offense but, I always found these to be really ugly and oddly proportioned.

That gen of MR2 looked to me like a bad attempt at copying the Boxster...

I liked those ones alright, but I'd have rather they'd have called them something other than MR2.

wonder how much they run for. I could pick one up and then go around saying that I drive a mid-engine sports car. :D

IIRC, they called them MR-S in the US and MR2 elsewhere...

Nope, other way around. MR2 Spyder in the US, MR-S in Japan and Europe. They decided they couldn't call it MRS here because they didn't want us to call it the "Missus," (As we called the previous generations the "Mister") or see it as an old lady's car, or something like that.

I have seen some retrofitted with JDM badging though. The nose badge is replaced with a little trapezoidal deal that says "Midship Runabout":

my bro has a previous gen mr2. fun little thing, though it needed more sound insulation for highway cruising.
