August 30, 201114 yr Are You The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe? William Maley - Editor/Reporter - CheersandGears.com August 30, 2011 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Gallery Related: Hyundai Goes 2 For 2: 2 Coupes For 2 Auto Shows Hyundai is busy finishing up the refreshed 2013 Genesis coupe. The company says the coupe will have a “more dramatic” design. Judging from some pictures posted at the GenCoupe.com fourm, it's very dramatic in in a good/bad way. The pictures show the Genesis Coupe's front end sharing the same hexagonal shaped grill from the new Veloster. The front end also has new front headlights and unique hood louvers. The back gets a new set of LED taillights. We don't know if this is the final design or not, but we'll have an answer in January when Hyundai is expected to show off the Genesis Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show. Source: GenCoupe.com
August 30, 201114 yr Mitsu, audi and nissan all use this sort of 'full-height' grille already.... but hyundai has never been one to create anything on their own.
August 30, 201114 yr The flatter, taller nose makes me wonder if Hyundai is thinking about releasing the Genesis coupe in Europe and made these mods to pass the EU ped regs.
August 30, 201114 yr It looks a little better than the current car, but the grille is a bit Audi and the look up front is of a Nissan/Infiniti. The current car as a weird look from front view, but looks good form the side and back. Hopefully the finished product looks good, I'd like to see them put the V8 in this car.
August 30, 201114 yr Well Hyundai has to miss the mark every now and then. It's awful. Hyundai's new front ends are too busy...but it least it's not like the Sonata Hybrid--that face is nauseating.
August 30, 201114 yr You would think Hyundai would take notes from the Camaro and Mustang and realize that their entry level sports car should look unique from their compact cars. Apparently, Hyundai thinks the Camaro and Mustang look like angry Cruzes and Foci. August 30, 201114 yr It looks like it went into a wall nose-first. The current car looks rather dated (and looked that way at intro), but this is uglier. Me no like.
August 31, 201114 yr hmmm....I think I like the original better...this is something that would have to grow on me. with any luck though, this is just a red herring.
