Here we go...

Seen a lot of new Focuses lately, but yesterday was the first time I saw one on the road with significant front-end damage. :(

House I was working at the last few days; the owner had his long-time '66 Galaxie 500 convertible in the garage. Red w/ black top & black bench interior, 289 car. Worn, tired, but solid & all there. Last inspected in '04. Nice to see one of the big Fords of this era...

Base Victory Red '11 Camaro 1LT convertible with black top in traffic. Lady driver gleaming ear to ear.

Thanks for stepping in, Lamar. I've been somewhat in a fog lately. Still in pain and a court date coming up on Tuesday.

Glad to do it. :) GL with everything.

Saw a current-gen BMW Z4 the other day. In person it looks even more like a miniature 6 Series. Haven't decided if that's a good thing or not.

Oh yeah... I think I've seen almost every Chevrolet SS model from the last 15 years this week. Silverado, Trailblazer, Monte Carlo, you name it...

Went to (bare) Assateague State Park today near Ocean City, MD. Beach parking lot was packed. I rode a couple of rows and sawr a spot! As I positioned myself to turn in... I noticed a tiny automobile taking up half the spot... a Grigio Fiat 500! So I kept on searching...:)

Saw some upcoming GM cars in a parking lot.

A new Malibu, was surprised at how tall the front end looks.

Two Buick Veranos (one w/ a M6), looked very good, totally different look/feel from the Cruze, nice tail lamps (not big like they looked in pictures).

An Opel Astra 3-door, M6, still had some zebra stickers, nice size (not too small looking, compared to the Verano next to it), had stop-start (according to a sticker on the console).

A fully restored 1961 Imperial Crown convertible - right here on the property as I type this. It is staying here tonight ahead of an appearance at a serious local Concours tomorrow.

The car is stunning.

2012 Jetta GLI in gray. Lookin' good.

A silver Volt with California license plates "VOLT GM".

Saw a silver-green Plymouth Volare 4dr in minty condition tonight...very unusual to see one of those in any condition.

Saw a black Fiat 500, tinted windows, chrome rims at a light.. next to a burnt orange Challenger R/T Classic.

My old Millenia. On three separate occasions in two days. I was surprised.

Camaro convertible minus the pesky front end. I assume it was in an accident, but remain open to the idea that the owner was trying to make a Camaro Superleggera.

Saw a bluish-purple pearl colored '56 Chevy coupe today. Lowered and chrome rims, but it was tasteful hot-rod style, rather than blinged-out. looked pretty good.

Black Fiesta SE Sport sedan... with Pep Boys chrome edging every panel, and a giant red SALEEN vinyl sticker across the full width of the rear bumper.

two '59 caddys parked nose to nose on the way to work. guy has a slew of old cars including a 68 fastback 2dr impala, a 71 charger and several old dodge trucks. first i have seen of these two though. a coupe and and sedan. there has also been a gold 67 poncho gp for sale on the way to work but i think it may have found a home since its been a few weeks since i have seen it and there has been a 69/70 full size fomoco in its stead. lastly there is a new body shop that has opened up on the way to work. the guy seems to be a jack of all trades doing newer and older stuff. 77/78 t/a then there was a cj5. the newest project is a red 71 dodge. i say 71 cause it has super bee stuff on it. if its real it should be a pretty rare car.

Cooler fall weather here...convertible top down weather. Saw a clean pale blue '75 Caprice convertible (seems like a lot of '74 B-body verts were this color) and a clean yellow '75-76 Eldorado convertible rolling along in traffic...

Black '69 Coronet 2-door. Painted with what appeared to be spray cans. With a broke-ass bumblebee stripe with a generic bumblebee on it. Pep Boys chrome on a roll on the edge of every panel. Pep Boys "wire" wheel covers with red plastic disc background pieces. A drag-ass stance. A CB antenna, and body-color bumpers.

A Suzuki Samarai. Haven't seen one of those in years.

a customer had brought one in recently, like a 93 pristine, 230k plus miles.

what did i see today? i went to the dealership to look, but couldn't quite get through the blacktop work but there were supposed to be 2012 impalas on the lot......

Saw my first Volt today driving home from chicago, it was white.

Saw my first in RL, too. Black.

Seen two so far. One on the highway, and one at a Chevy dealer with huge Volt graphics on the side.

yup there was a black one i saw here last week with "VOLT" accross the bottom. a little cheesy if you ask me.

Saw a red '65 Olds Starfire coupe today...sweet. A nice companion for the silver '65 Jetstar I I saw a while back in the same area.

I would guess that those so-equipped are dealer demo cars.

Not unlike the Leafs (Leaves?) I see around w/ the huge 'ZERO EMISSION VEHICLE' graphics down the side...

Gorgeous, cool, weather this morning. Seems to have brought out the classic two-door SUVs. First, I saw a circa 1990 Ramcharger in nice condition. They weren't all that common even back then, and certainly a rare sight today. Then I spotted a mid-eighties Bronco in exceptional condition, top removed to enjoy this perfect Autumn day.

All from behind the wheel of my own 2-door Tahoe.

Not a bad way to start the day.

Silver '12 Chevy Sonic hatch ready to come off the truck carrier next door.

Rainy, bitter cold (only 62!) day, but active nonetheless... '67 Malibu SS coupe, beautiful non-factory metallic blue colour, rollin' on what appeared to be 18 inch chrome bling rims... sounded healthy, piloted by a young Latin guy.

2 '67-'72 C-10 pickups in separate sightings. One greenish gold with white roof (it'd be cool to bring that option back) a bit rough around the edges, the other green with white roof, hauling a small steam engine in the bed. Similar to a Rock...

You mean mildly changed 2002 Impalas, right?

In a parallell universe, people are lusting over the real 2012 Impala, which is probably actually as cool as the 1960's version.

Not a bad way at all...

Today...Alfa GTV...Audi A8, Audi R8, BMW E-30 M3,

Last night a sweet 1975 Monte Carlo in the parking lot at Easton movie theater...Brown with a tan top...nice, nice shape, not restored, just a clean survivor.

OH... forgot to mention, I pulled up behind an early Porsche 928 in light blue at a red light. Two kids in back seat playing with the rear sunvisors... car was in perfect condition.

What is it with all these blu cars? Today in separate sightings I saw a late 70's Corolla 2-door... blue, in perfect condition, and an early 80's Corolla 2-door with hidden headlights... blue, in perfect condition. Both driven by Latin guys... they love those tiny old Japanese cars.

A spotting our dear C&G leader would enjoy - a beautifully restored black '66 Olds Toronado on Route 295 North getting off the ramp into Hamilton Township (his old haunting grounds). Personalized NJ license plate read 66TORO.

I should have taken a pic...parked in a row front of a grocery and restaurant in a strip mall were four interesting semi-recent out-of-production models, all in black..

Lincoln Blackwood, Mercury Marauder, last generation of Ford Thunderbird, and Chevy SSR.

AN ORANGE SONIC JUST DROVE BY!!!!!!!!

Also, saw an Equus the other day.....like it, I think it looks better in person than pics. Did not check out the interior though.

Saw an odd car go by when walking back to the office from lunch...a '10 Camaro, with lots of scratches and dings, dirty, with New Jersey plates. In Arizona.

Also saw a white '64 Caddy Coupe de Ville w/ tinted windows and large black w/ chrome rim wheels parking in the valet area at the mall..looked huge and impressive amidst the usual appliances and modern luxury cars.

someone visited our shop today with a very special camaro. 24" fronts and 26" rears.........

I saw a hideous '10 Camaro last year w/ wheels that size...car was painted hot pink with bright green stripes, with bright green wheels w/ pink rims..

An armada of Mazda Miadas... one stood out, an early model with chrome material on all panel edges, Pep Boys fender vents and wire wheel covers with chrome cones in the center.

Also, an early Citation 4-door in the ubiquitous gold colour in good shape

And I walked up to a new white Sonic sedan in the Lowe's parking lot to check it out just as the lights flashed and the doors unlocked, so I geeked with the nerd, asking how he liked it and pointed out my car up the line. He said he liked his Sonic.

At Target, I parked next to a red '60 Pontiac Catalina 2dr sedan. Solid shape, straight metal. Older paint, white interior. Some cracked windows. Looked like a solid, restorable car. Lifted in the back on an older set of Cragar SS wheels.

I love the totally cleeean '60 Pontiac!

FORGOT... sawr a clean silver J-body Skyhawk SCS coupe being gingerly backed out of a parking spot by its 80+ year old man driver. Real blast from the past.

Agreed!

May the force (of Mazda Miatas) be with you!

We looked at a Cruze today, same color as yours. Took the Mrs. and looked at that along with a new new Beetle.

You and me, we be rockin the 4's...

saw a tesla today. probably only because there was an electric car show at the local airport recently.
