October 4, 201114 yr Author That's because people who buy Suziki's are all strung out... so much for my plan to slam you into an SX4 sportback........
October 4, 201114 yr Author *Other/discontinued models include the XL7, Forenza, Reno and Verona. the damage caused for the name by those last three models has been irreperable......GM and Daewoo really killed a lot of any good will that the brand had gained steam with
October 4, 201114 yr The brand gained steam? And had garnered good will? Before this 3 all Suzuki ever had were tiny SUVs and a Metro clone. Basically that's like saying a rapist lost his standing in the community when he committed murder.

October 4, 201114 yr Because Suzuki was a world-class, leading automotive manufacturer dedicated to innovation and advanced technologies prior to the insertion of Daewoo vehicles!
October 4, 201114 yr At least their own vehicles are reliable. GM did ruin Suzuki in the US by forcing Daewoos upon them... known junk.
October 4, 201114 yr Pretty low volume for an automaker in the US market. Kizashi is decent, but too little too late. At least their own vehicles are reliable. GM did ruin Suzuki in the US by forcing Daewoos upon them... known junk. Bingo!

October 4, 201114 yr I still haven't gotten a chance to test drive the Kizashi. I haven't seen a Suzuki dealership in like 8 months.
October 4, 201114 yr I think the Kizashi Sport GTS is a pretty good car actually, but the (one) local dealer doesn't have any Kizashis in an appealing spec.
October 4, 201114 yr Shocked to see the Grand Vitara nubmers so low. Bet it sells a lot better in Canada.
October 5, 201114 yr Whats really shocking is that this thread has almost as many replies as Suzuki had sales last month.

October 6, 201114 yr Author we had an SRT8 trade recently, a smart car, a Cube Krom etc. there are some folks out there checking it out despite the advertising. had 2 folks buy who already had newest outbacks in the family too..... what's even more humorous is the mini cooper s we took in several months ago, we can't give away, even after many price drops. no one is interested in the minis Edited October 6, 201114 yr by regfootball
October 6, 201114 yr I think a Swift, a re-done SX4, Kizashi, Samurai rebirth, new Vitara and a pickup based on their recent concept, (NOT a Datsun) plus some brilliant marketing is all Suzuki needs to keep scrapping it out here in the USA. BACK AWAAAY FROM THE DAEWOOS!

Are you working as a salesman for Suzuki now, reg?
October 7, 201114 yr Interesting... Thinking VW GTI at the moment for the next ride... If I were in the market, a 5-door GTI would be about the only thing that could lure me away from the Subaru I've began to covet.

If I were in the market, a 5-door GTI would be about the only thing that could lure me away from the Subaru I've began to covet. Already starting to lure me from the Cobalt SS TC (used) MINI Cooper S and the thought of another Miata.
October 7, 201114 yr I've fallen in love with the 5-door Impreza, buy a GTI is insanely tempting. Just need to hold out a couple more years...
October 8, 201114 yr Shocked to see the Grand Vitara nubmers so low. Bet it sells a lot better in Cambodia... Fixed that for ya...it's a third world level vehicle at best, IMHO.
October 8, 201114 yr ...and I see almost no Kishashi's on the road around here. Got to thinking about this today... In the last three months, I've seen three Kishashi's in the wild. In the last three weeks, I've seen 6 Studebakers...a white 62 Hawk, a red 64 Hawk, two Avanti's, a 53 Starliner, and a 56ish pic em up truck... So around here, a Kisashi is twice as a rare (or more) of a sighting as a Studebaker. That should say something right there, IMHO>
