New 2012 Z71 decal

Featured Replies

Spotted a 2012 GMC Sierra sporting the new 'chrome' Z71 decal on Saturday in Lebanon, PA (at Ebersole Buick-GMC):

For comparison, here's the Z71 decal used from 2007 through 2011:

I'm liking the new 2012 Z71 decal, as it is similar to this one:

That one was used only two model years, 1999 and 2000, before being replaced by this one for the 2001-2007 (Classic models, not the new GMT-900 models) that I did not like:

Not sure which one I like.....

What's hard to tell from my picture is the "chrome" factor of the new Z71 decal... the red and the silver are chromed and very shiny in direct sunlight, which is why I had to stand to the side and angle the camera to get the picture I posted.

The 4x4 decal is also chromed for 2012 and I would suspect it too had a redesign (have not seen this one yet).

Hate those stickers - I've peeled the "4x4" sticker off of every GM truck I've had the moment I got it home.

Cheap and cheesy, the trucks look better without them.
