AWESOME and MAJESTIC ride! A Guy down here in jax has one that's a red Convertible. And another guy has a 60 that's black like this one! LOVE this vintage of Pontiac! WIDE TRACK BABY!!

Wide Track FTW...thanks guy1

I could never get into those years... even in Oldsmobile.

Buick-Oldsmobile-Pontiac from that 1961-1963 vintage I just don't get unfortunately... I like the Chevys and Caddys of that era but that's about it. Given this is a super clean example.

The '59 is nice, but I much prefer the '61-64 B-bodies from C-P-O-B..especially the bubbletop '61 hardtops. I find all 4 of the '61s appealing, but the Pontiac and Olds (love the skegs) are my favorites.

Understandable; as Olds had the most awkward styling in this mini-era.

After the clean '50s (thru '57), Olds didn't get stylistically hip again until '62.

But all the '61-63 GMs had a degree of awkwardness about them; that, or mild blandness.

Except Pontiac.

I'm not a fan of the '59 Pontiac line-up ('55-'58 are my favs), and mildly like the '60 Ponchos. However, the '61 and '62 Pontiacs are truly dream cars for me (I think I like the '61s better, but wouldn't refuse a '62). I've just recently started to admire the '63s, though I'm not a fan of the '64s through '67s. 1968 & up is when I truly admire Pontiac again.

^ Interesting, and to each his own, of course.

IMO, Pontiacs 'are' stacked headlights- that's when they cemented their legacy.

I love the '62 Bonneville taillight treatment...though the '63 and '64 GP taillight treatment is pretty sweet also. I love both stacked and horizontal headlight treatments..

I have a lot of these cars in 1:25th, 1:64th, and 1:18th scale models to enjoy..especially love the AMT annuals of the early '60s..
