October 17, 201114 yr Rumorpile: Civic To Get A Refresh In 2013?! William Maley - Editor/Reporter - CheersandGears.com October 17, 2011 The new Honda Civic has been panned for many things, including a design that looks almost the same as the model it replaces. Well, Honda seems to be taking the concerns to heart and could be working a refresh. According to a source, Honda held a "Grassroots" meeting for West Coast Honda dealers. Dealers issued concerns and comments about the new Civic to the company. Honda's response to their dealers a "very refreshed, and more aggressively styled Civic" would make an appearance sometime in late 2012 as a 2013 model. Source: Temple of VTEC
October 17, 201114 yr Interesting. Not enough buyers find the new appliance sufficiently different from the old appliance?
October 17, 201114 yr Interesting also that the focus group was west coast and that Midwest fly over where it's built matters not to ANY manufacturer any more

October 17, 201114 yr Maybe but consider that they're made in the heart of Ohio & Indiana and that both states combined at least equal the populace of Calli Well, about half as many... Ohio + Indiana is only about 17.9M, Cali is 36M. I suspect between Cali, Oregon and Washington, Honda sells a lot more cars there than in the Midwest... October 17, 201114 yr Since the new one looks the same as the old, might as well refresh again. It looks really boring as it is now.
