Hey everybody,

I'm taking a trip home to Ohio from New Jersey for the first weekend in December. I am really really interested in purchasing a Cruze Eco - probably an automatic, as my boyfriend doesn't know how to drive manual. I doubt I'd be able to find a Cruze Eco for rent, but I was looking to rent a Cruze, hopefully with the 1.4 turbo for my trip. Does anyone know which rental agency have Cruze's in their fleet? If I can't find a Cruze I'll just be taking the old Grand Prix for another trip!

I am about 9-12 months away from looking for a new car, and I figured, a 550 mile stint behind the wheel would tell me how I like the Cruze, as far as comfort and travel is concerned. I typically driver about 1500-2000 miles when I go home for a long weekend.

Thanks for the input!

Usually, rental companies cannot promise you a specific car, but most companies do have the Cruise available. I saw them last weekend at Hertz, Avis, and Enterprise. You can always call or go to the location and inquire and maybe you might be able to request that particular car.

Alamo/National has them also..I saw a bunch in their parking area at an airport recently..

This.

Funny, I had just seen a banner ad the other day claiming the Cruze was exclusively only at Avis. Makes me wonder what the deal is, if others have it too. Of course, I cannot find it now. Perhaps Avis has an exclusive on the Cruze Eco.
