Rumorpile: Civic To Get A Refresh In 2013?!

Earlier in October, we reported on a rumor that Honda would be moving up their refresh of the new Civic to 2013 due to all of the negative press. This week, Honda has confirmed the Civic would be refreshed sometime in 2013.

"We take feedback seriously, regardless of who it's from, and we will act accordingly quickly," said John Mendel, American Honda executive vice president.

The new Civic has been bashed for many things; similar exterior design to the previous model, poor quality of materials, etc. Also, Consumer Reports has removed the Civic from their recommended model list.

I wonder if the re-do will be along the lines of the red LeBaron convertible seen elsewhere here?
