November 6, 201114 yr Best modern design in cars: I like the new Audi TT, the C30 Volvo, the Cadillac CTS, and a few other really modern cars...which New cars do you think have the best "modern" car styling. As far as exotics, I really like the direction Ferrari is taking also... Your thoughts?
November 6, 201114 yr I'm loving the new Citroen DS5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA8GHaeckrY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nh0LAxeu1M That door panel at 0:42 is pure sex... Edited November 6, 201114 yr by pow
November 6, 201114 yr Audi has a nice, tidy, design theme going right now. Challenger is probably the best of the retro designs. Mini is perfectly what it is. Zo6 Vette is a great expression of essential Corvette styling. Suburban/Avalanche are also perfectly what they are. GMC Sierra tops all pickup design. And the Holdens, of course.
November 6, 201114 yr Modern as in looking futuristic or as in will still look good 20 years from now? I think the Hyundai Veloster looks pretty modern.
November 6, 201114 yr -Citroens especially the C6 -Cadillac CTS -Buick LaCrosse -Ford Taurus -Volvo S60 -Saab 9-5
November 6, 201114 yr Dodge Challenger Dodge Charger Ford Taurus Cadillac CTS Alfa Romeo Brera Cadillac Ciel, yes I know it's only a concept, but it's what a Caddy flagship should be. 2012 Beetle, a much nicer modern take on the classic Beetle.
November 6, 201114 yr Have to exclude anything that is retro... As far as purely modern design, I was thinking Citroen also, esp. the DS3 and DS5 and the C6. I like some of the recent Alfas, now out of production like the Brera, Spyder and 159. As far as US market, I like the CTS in it's variations (even the giant-butt coupe). I like the Jaguar XF, like the front end of the XJ but hate the rear and the dash design. I liked the first gen Merc CLS alot, haven't seen a 2nd gen model yet.
