Cheers or Jeers: 12,000 mile 1978 Buick Skylark

ACCIDENT - RUST FREE, & ORIGINAL CONDITION

1978 BUICK SKYLARK COUPE

ONE OF THE NICEST IN THE US

12,000 ORIGINAL MILES

Just arrived, this lovely Tennessee car was purchased by the second owner

as an estate car from the widow of the first owner in 1983. It has remained in

Kingsport, Tennessee until I purchased it from the second owner a few months ago.

This Skylark has received one repaint in the original Medium Blue Poly Metallic.

It is complimented by its mint velour interior and its original carpet and door panels.

It is equipped with the original, economical 3.8 liter V-6 engine with two barrel carb.

Cold Factory Air Conditioning

We added brand new Buick road wheels and new radial whitewall tires

Very nice original condition and a real budget classic for local cars shows...

THIS IS A TIME CAPSULE!

Facts:

• 100% laser straight, rust free sheet metal.

• Nice repaint its original Medium Blue Poly

• Excellent blue bench seat velour interior

• Painted dual white pinstriping

• Economical 231 cubic inch, 2BBL V-6 engine

• Power steering & brakes

Cold factory air conditioning

So, it's a base model with legendary Road Wheels put on to spruce it up for sale.

The car has a very clean look, and the road wheels compliment it nicely.

Would be one hell of a sleeper with a GN transplant...

Don't love that interior too much, but the price is just fine.

Good price with many of miles left in her good colors tho not liking the checker board seats I have it over most new stuff slap an overdrive in it & go, turbo for added power maybe and still less than a Sonic

Did Buick REALLY need that many bolts to hold the front bumper on??

They're bolted to an aluminum box section they wanted to make sure that it would be there at 100K mi still
